The brief

Cash handling systems are judged on one question: when the float does not balance at close, can you find out why. Every wallet and bank account here is backed by its own history table, so a balance is the computed consequence of recorded movements rather than a figure that can quietly drift. Cashier floats stay separate from the general account, so one position can be reconciled without unpicking the whole day.
